The Meteor C-80 Controller is designed for lighting events that do not require more powerful, more expensive and more complicated control features. The Meteor C-80 Controller is extensive in what it can do and yet it is simple to use and operate. Allowing even the most modest of light shows to perform some fairly intricate routines. The Meteor C-80 Controller also allows the operator/programmer to "protect and save", all of the programmed steps via Password Protection. Ease of how to operate a professional light show was the prime objective behind the design brief for this controller. yet it still had to have the flexibility to be able to manually over-ride, at any given time, while a light show is running. It is probably best suited for shows that use between 30 and 40 channels of DMX. However it has the ability to be able to handle larger systems (up to 80) DMX channels also. The Meteor C-80 Controller is really simple to use and operate. it will control up to ten 8 channel fixtures or twenty four channel fixtures or combinations of multiple channel effects.

The lighting controller shall be a DMX 512 controller that has the capability of transmitting 80 channels of DMX through a single cable. The lighting controller will be capable of operating ten - 8 channel fixtures and will have the ability to create up to 1000 scenes and engage in 35 separate chases. Maximum amount of scenes per chase will be 48. The lighting controller will have the ability to manually override chases running. Control protocol shall meet the USITT DMX 512 1900 standard. Lighting controller will be fitted with 10 LED's to indicate active page selection. LCD screen will indicate the operational mode function controller is engaged in. The controller will have 8 physical sliders to determine in percentages a specific DMX level per channel. Unit will also come with 3 pin and 5 pin XLR output connectors for ease of installation. Power requirement will be (1) 9VDC, 800ma. This will be supplied with controller. The controller will be 12" in length x 6.25" wide x 2.35" (back) height and a 1.7" (front) slope height. Weight of the unit will be less than 5 pounds.
